Backcountry Heli-Picnic

Leave the Whistler Valley behind and fly with us deep into our backyard, the Coastal Mountains. Our local mountains feature diverse landscapes of extinct volcano, untouched old growth forests, pastoral meadows and immense glaciers.

Your professional guide and pilot will work together to select the perfect locale for a gourmet lunch with unparalleled views. While you are enjoying this visual feast, your guide will be preparing a wonderful lunch that will satisfy the heartiest of mountain appetites. We welcome you to join us and spend a little time amidst these dramatic settings and leave with a lasting impression of Whistler's backcountry.

What to bring:

  • Outdoor hiking shoes (not sandals or soft soled shoes)
  • Sunglasses
  • Camera
  • Sunscreen
  • And remember to dress in layers as weather conditions may vary

IMPORTANT INFORMATION TO NOTE:

  • For all activities, beginner, intermediate and advanced hikers are welcome. Distances and degrees of difficulty are geared to the guests' skills and desires.
  • Upon arrival at the heliport your guide and pilot will present a helicopter safety briefing.
  • Guests are required to sign a waiver for all guided, non-guided activities.
Tour Length: 4 hours (including transportation to/from heliport)
Cost: $465.00 per person plus 6% GST
*2 passengers minimum
*Picnic's are available year round but are weather dependant
